to give you a ball park idea its always locate within the moule/node in charge of the wireless function for example on gm will be located under bcm/remote control thru the vci, on ford is located in the smart junction box, Chrysler in wcm and so on but mostly found in bcm. I haven't yet ran into a vehicle that don't have it but I could be off. good luck

Yes on chrysler this feature is located in the wcm. This feature can also be enable or
dissable, make sure its not dissable. As far as programming tpms with the maxisys I
don't think is the best tool for the job. Could be cuz they sell other tools for this job,who
knows. I usually don't get involve with tpms issues since I don't have any tpms tool
and hardly ever gotten anything related to this system. I will say if you do this kind of
work try to get your self one of those tpms tools. Maybe someone else here on the
forum with more experince on this field can suggest the best tool for that. Good luck.

Yes this tool works great for tpms for programming new I'd numbers into module. I have done on chystler,gm,Nissan,Toyota and it's flawless. Used in conjunction with my autel tpms t401( which reads sensors to get I'd numbers, then take those numbers and type into maxisys) very very simple and can even put all 4 new ids in less than 5 minutes.

Thanks for the info buddy is good to know. I usually send this work to a tire shop since
am mobile and have no way to change this sensors. Do you know which autel tpms
model is the best for the job besides the maxisys? Thanks.

For me TS501. Price vs quality it's very good.

Dodge Dart tpms is in the RF module (radio frequency). Also applies to most Chrysler products after 2014. Older Chrysler in WCM (wireless control module)

For tpms tools our dealership uses one issued by Chrylser, it's an Ateq with Chryser software. We are also a Suzuki dealer and the tool they required us to have is an ATEQ with generic/ateq software. I think any Autel tpm tool would be fine. Chrysler has actually removed tpms learning functions from some models on OEM scantool software they say now drive to learn sensors which are difficult to learn.
